I am James Camp: a Toronto litigator dedicated to generating practical, efficient resolutions
to conflicts threatening my clients’ businesses and careers.

I bring to bear expertise developed at the Ontario Securities Commission, a national law firm and two leading boutiques litigating an array of complex disputes.

My practice has increasingly focused on disputes and regulatory action arising from:

· the capital markets & financial services;
· professional liability & discipline; and
· commercial real estate.

I sit on The Advocates’ Society’s Pro Bono Advisory Committee and the Steering Committee of the OSC Litigation Assistance Program - a program that I helped initiate - which provides free legal assistance to unrepresented respondents to OSC administrative proceedings. I am also on Pro Bono Law Ontario’s Appeals Assistance Project volunteer roster.

I am a director of Neighbourhood Information Post: a charity that strives to prevent homelessness, enhance self-sufficiency, and improve the quality of life in the Downtown East community.
